Flathead Collects Earth's Natural Treasures
 March 25 through May 1, 2004

Sponsored by The Wallace Foundation with additional support from Wheeler Jewelry, The second in our series of Flathead Collects exhibits features gems, stones, and fossils. This unique exhibition reflects on how earth’s natural treasures can be viewed as both art and collectibles, especially after an artist gets a hold of them. Demonstrations on wire-wrapping, gold and silver smithing, faceting, cabbing, gravel-washing, and more will take place at the opening reception on March 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, on April 8 from 11:00 to 1:00 pm, and on April 17 from 11:00 to 2:00 pm.
