Lewis and Clark Discovery
Works by Frank Hagel

 March 25 through July 24, 2004

The Red Pirogue, by Frank Hagel
The Red Pirogue, Oil on Board, by Frank Hagel
Collection of Mr. & Mrs. Ray Thompson
Artist Frank Hagel has devoted his artistic career to historical subjects for years. Hagel has recently produced an outstanding body of work depicting the journey of the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery. This exhibit will be a wonderful visual education. Unlike so many other early explorers, Lewis and Clark did not have a staff artist travel with them during the four years of their journey, but their vivid journals come to life in Frank's paintings!
